  • Identify and explain 1 argument that Aristotle makes in each chapter of Book II
  • Write down 3 questions you have about Book II
  • Make 5 connections in Book I to the world, your own previous knowledge, or your own experiences (total of 6 connections) 
  • Write a brief summary of each chapter, for a total of 3 summaries

Did they change your interpretation of the book? What was her purpose in writing this text? Do you think that she succeeded in her goals?

      • What is "Social Reproduction"? How do we see it in RANDOM FAMILY? What examples of it do we see in the book? How do the book's last sections connect to this concept? 
      • What is the "Cycle of Poverty"? How is it similar to and different from "Social Reproduction"? How do we see it in RANDOM FAMILY? 
      • If these concepts of the reproductive and cyclical nature of economic oppression are true, who is to blame for poverty? How is poverty to be overcome? In a well-developed paragraph, state your opinion using solid reasoning and evidence from the book or your own knowledge.
